I began my photographic journey at 10 years of age and 52 years later, I still am in love with the process from my first Brownie, through 35mm, medium format and now, digital. My Dad had a darkroom in our basement when I was growing up. I loved the odor of the chemicals and the whole experience of developing, enlarging and printing. It is hard to replace that experience, but the end result from digital is convenient. It does not replace the almost zen experience of watching the print come to life in the mix, but it is all about the light and the image
